Racing Oils only for Drag Race Use

I know you already know this Brian, but the quickest way to blow up a motor is to rev it up with no load on it.

I have heard that.
Been doing it almost long as I have been alive .
To me it's a Wives tale.

Almost 200,000 miles on the factory L98 350 Tuned Port Engine.
It has had a hard life by me.
Excellent oil pressure yet.
The Kendell 20w50 has excellent idle oil pressure.
Didn't photo hot oil pressure because I had the Throttle position sensor mounting screws fail on the test drive.

20 W Oil was specified for Hot weather use day 1 in my 1965 Olds 425 Super Rocket V8 I transplanted into my 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix.
Be the equivalent to 20w50 oil.
My Research shows 20w50 oil came about 1971-1972 from the Road Racers such as Lemans in France.

We can see here that 20w - 20w50 flows from 10F Ok yet. Called for up to 110 F Hot.
Like a Real Hot summer day in Illinois. We had them weeks in a row back 2012 Summer I recall.

The Pinnacle Year for Horsepower and Torque by Pontiac Motors 1970.
You can see 10w40, straight 30w, & 20w - 20w50 specified for high speed use.......Drag Racing. About 1/3 -1/2 GTO's ordered had 3.90 or 4.33 rear diff gears to drag race on streets and tracks right away.

I no longer have my 1974 Pontiac Service manual. Super Duty 455 specified straight 30 W oil all the time and at 32F use 10w4o oil.
Its also right on the driver's valvecover the Large Decal warning to use a connecting rod bolt stretch gauge only & same oil specifications.

I have ran the Pontiac Gp about 1500 miles so far this year on 20w50 Kendell GT Competition oil.
Zero Issues.
About 1800 miles now on the 87 Corvette with over 200k miles with 20w50 oil also.
It likes also.
Both running great !

Slow street driver use 10w30 oil.

Street Race 100-150 mph WOT+ use 20w50 oil and its 50 F or warmer outside.
Drag race 6500-8000 RPM+ use 20w50 oil.

Nitrous Power adder 250-750 + HP more use 20w50 oil or straight 40-50 Racing oil....Nitrous hits Superhard. Big shots tear stock car frames in 1/2...seen it happen.

Turbo Boost 21-100+ PSI for 400-4000 + HP more 2ow50 or Top Fuel Dragster Oil.

My recommendations.

Mudtruck Balls out Supercharged SBC that Unforgiven has use 20w50 Vavoline VR-1 like he has been !
He proved it works !

Thanks for the recognition Brian.. I change it out every 8 hours whether it needs it or not! LOL It does not mix well with Q-16 fuel.
It turns pea soup green ! :p
