Hi, Im trying to figure out the best way to run support plug wires over to the plugs. The problem is I have a set of tall valve covers on a 454 with the concealed bolts from the top of the cover thus not allowing a typical use of the valve cover bolt to attach a bracket. Has anyone seen header bolts holding the plug wire supports or would it be to much heat transfer from the header bolt to the wire? I didnt want to really just lay them across the top of the valve cover either. Any thoughts?
thanks jim

thermal sleeving, can be used,

split smurf tube wire tube or electrical cable sleaving comes in a dozen diameters and colors, smurf tube is commonly used to route wires in engine compartments rather neatly,
but its not especially heat resistant.
,a bit of fabrication skills, used with matched color cable ties, and its been used for decades to do something similar to what you requested
use high heat cable ties

you certainly won,t be the first guy to build or use a custom ignition wire bracket that bolts to a valve cover,
or use exhaust bolt standoff brackets to route ignition wires either, should you go that route,
but many guys use thermal sleeves and route the ignition wire under the headers
