Hello from Olmsted Township, Ohio ! My name is Bob and I am from a family of hot rodders. My dad is to blame for making my brother and I this way. I currently own a 55 Chevy that is basically the car my dad had in high school. My dad owns a 2001 Z28 and a 69 300/350 Corvette. My brother is currently building a 57 Chevy 4 dr wagon with a modern 5.3. I found you and your site via Chevytalk and you look to be a wealth of engine knowledge. I posted the start of my build on Chevytalk but I will post it here to get even more input.

first off welcome to the site bob! and thats a pretty bad ass hot rod you got goin on there. ive always wanted to do a white motor but ive always been scared of the asspain that comes with the inevitable leaking. should look AWESOME when you drop it in there tho. tell us some more about it...

Thanks Philly. I don't know if I will keep it white. That is the way I bought it. Previous owner did it to match his car. Although different, I am kinda of a "Chevy Orange" disciple. Only thing different on my car is the front wheels. I got them for free from a friends dad and I traded them to a friend to put them on his 35 Ford 5 window coupe. She ain't pretty but it looks just fine from behind the steering wheel !

Welcome to the forum Bob, glad you found us. This forum is the best
thing going since canned beer !!! :D

You might want to read this thread about posting pictures, it will help
you size them so they load faster and you wont have to page around
to see the whole photo. But still larger enough to see the details. Just
page down to you see "Software". It's free!
