SBC Clutch/Pressureplate recommendation?

Looking for Clutch kit recommendation for my 69 Camaro (TKO600 410" SBC appx 525hp 3.90 gears) street car.
I've done some searching and calling around:

Hays: Recommends their street strip diaphram 11" (3000lbs pressure)
Mcleod: Superstreet
Ram: Powergrip
Sachs: Came recommended on the Camaro forum but I cannot find the right part numbers for the TKO 11" (Keisler sells it) Sachs is sold almost everywhere but the local catalogs dont have detail on the parts.

Want something that will last but also has mild leg effort (so the family can drive/enjoy)

Any recommendations? most kits are the same price.

the diaphragm clutch designs tend to be the smoothest en gauging and the higher the clamp load the faster the clutch tends to grab, so it generates less heat and tends to last a bit longer at the cost of a bit higher pedal pressure.
hays makes a decent clutch so I'd suggest talking with their tech guys, about your concerns before selecting a clutch
I usually buy clutches from local shops specializing in clutches, as you can usually specify how you want it rebuilt or built from scratch
and if you have issues the guys your dealing with are local.
I know what your concerned about, I commonly use a 3800lb borg & beck clutch design and the wife had a difficult time working the clutch, in fact she could not press it in unless the seat was adjusted correctly so she could brace her self so she rarely drove my 1969 camaro with the 496 BBC and muncie if she could avoid it, I eventually bought her a 1970 ford mavarick 6 cylinder which she liked

heres me about 1971-72

The 69 was my favorite Camaro and one year only body style. Ah that was a ways back..... 1972 is when I graduated from high school.

Got the clutch - now for the pilot bushing. Ordered 5 of them trying to find a NON magnetic.
I read all over the net that I needed a non-magnetic and which was were and guess what...none were
Moog, Napa, SKF, Dorman, National, etc....ALL MAGNETIC (still all 5 under 12bucks) now I did not get a GM brand...YET http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/gm-pilo ... 80286.html

So do I have to run a non-magnetic one? (TKO600 behind a 500hp sbc on the street)

whats the point in placing a NON-MAGNETIC pilot bearing in a 40-60 lb forged or cast steel crank?
especially with a conductive engine block and transmission and bell housing?
as long as the block and transmission are correctly grounded your very unlikely to have electrolysis issues, you should have at least two frame ground straps
On sintered brass pilot bearings a good MOLY grease thats placed sparingly should be all thats required or you can use a sealed roller bearing
