setting a tach redline

ive been considering building a sequential turbo setup like the one found in twin turbo diesels... been reading alot about it lately altho there isnt much info out there for the gasoline people. i think thats the real hot ticket to building the 2000hp street car of our dreams brian.
 
Do You think we can afford The Fuel at 2,000 HP All year round Phil.?

Seems we have been searching some of the same topics Phil. The only one I found was an eclipse owner who did it pretty much takes away all lag. Sounds like a fun street setup to me.

i think we have read the same 50 page thread... theres enough there if you look at the photos, hear the guys testimony and read between the lines to figure it out.

i dont think i would daily drive a 2000 hp car, brian. i would like to have the luxury not to need to. maybe have a cheap 1000 dollar honda station wagon as a daily thatll pick up parts and haul gear and tools around, then bring the race car out to the hangouts and drive to the track... maybe pick up grumpy on the way again someday. i dunno.

one thing i can tell you is the car is that car is gonna have to start paying for itself over time... no free races with that shit. you know if something breaks at that level its catastrophic, and expensive $$$$!!!!!
