Shwmae ("Hi there" in Welsh!).
I am a Chevy Astro 1988 owner here in Wales, Great Britain.
I'm joining Grumpy's to help me learn more about my ECM / fuel system and more.
I'm not likely to be tuning or upgrading my 4.3 V6 , just keeping my old Astro running is enough !!
Oh, yes, I'm actually an Englishman living in Wales,,,,
& I can't speak the wonderful Welsh language !!!!

Welcome.
As soon as you get a Chance replace the intake gaskets with Premium Fel Pro Steel Core Rubber coated Vortec 4.3 intake gaskets.
The stock GM gaskets are plastic.
Will fail and dump 4 gallons of coolant into the oil pan.
Bottom end ruined in seconds then.
What happened to my 1997 Chevy Blazer 4wd 4.3 Vortech V6.
