Small Bits Of Good News , A Red Flag Bill Defeated

What is this about? The video cut short leaving out the context after Singer’s greed killed a small town

red flag bills vary a GREAT DEAL in how they are worded between states

the original basic concept was,

that if you know a close family member is potentially mentally UNHINGED and prone to be violence,
,that family member gets a judgement , limiting, or denying access to the person in questions weapons at a hearing
where all evidence is brought out, and examined carefully,
before any action is taken the person so named as a threat,or as a mentally unbalance threat, gets a lawyer and a court date.
to determine if his access to weapons should be limited until he's again deemed to be well mentally,
or determined to be a threat to himself or others.
the original concept was that a responsible family member would hold the property in question, not the cops

obviously the dems being rabidly anti the second amendment,
and wanting the government to control everyone's access to any and all weapons,

in many cases the dems want the bill worded so anyone, who knows the person has access to any weapon at that address,
would be able to start a firearm confiscation red flag procedure, in some cases the wording is so vague,(ON PURPOSE)
it would allow the cops to confiscate ALL weapons from anyone at a listed address.
so in theory a whole apartment complex could be cleared of all personal legal weapon ownership.
,that would effectively force the removal of all weapons at that address even if the person so named did not own any of or most of them.
and once started all the firearms owned by anyone at that address are confiscated by police
and in many cases they are intentionally destroyed, so they can not be returned or stored under conditions that would rapidly render them junk,
think thrown in a large bin in an intentionally damp store room.
(think anti gun cop
" who knew that if you were some how mistakenly pouring pool chlorine on a gun,
in a large plastic bin and letting it set un-supervised in a wet towel,
for a few weeks before a case goes to trial,
that might cause it to rust? up solidly"

or with no paperwork, so the original owner can never again prove he owned it later.
even if the original owner is later judged to be of sound mind and not violent.
if you can,t see the red flag laws used as leverage,
by a vindictive ex-wife or an employee using this to screw with someone like the boss they hate,
or some guy that has a better parking space, or a nicer car,
or a pretty girlfriend they want to date,or the guy starting the procedure just hates the political yard sign you put up...

or for any reason they don,t like you, you have no imagination.
as that is very well documented to have happened.

just an example of anti civilian firearms ownership actions
I once had a pistol stolen by a maid/housekeeper from my wifes purse
we reported it stolen the day it disappeared, and the cops found the gun, in her possession,
at a traffic stop the next week,
we were told we could pick it up between Monday and Wednesday at the local police station
the next week between 8 a.m, and 5 p.m.
if we brought proof of ownership
if we failed to show up on those three days,
they dump all unclaimed firearms in a smelter every friday night!
