Some rag joint talk

I couldn't find any clearly defined place for this problem, so I'll stick it here.
Among some other things
I noticed the rag joint is pretty good looking until I turned the front wheels and turned the joint to see a cut in the layers halfway through. From the underside is how I spotted this. It doesn't seem like it will fail nor did I notice any abnormal feeling in the steering. I'm assuming I should replace this joint.

After diner tonight I went to the local Advanced Auto for some parts, not sure why but using their site is useless, it always shows out of stock no matter what I look for. Anyway, they have 2 choices for the rag joints, one is a quick ratio 16:1 and the other is also called a quick ratio 10:1. No other supportive information is asked. How can I tell which one is right? They both look identical. What would you do with that?

Buy Both Richard. Return the incorrect part after comparing up close with original.

16.0:1 is quick ratio in 1968 for a Pontiac.
Norm back then was 22.0 - 18.0:1.

1970 Trans Am was variable ratio fast, 14.0 -11.0 :1.

1979 T/A was constant ratio Fast....14.0 :1.

Point is the parts store parts books are screwy....Fast ratio was only used on the 1969-81 Pontiac Trans Am in modern terms....10:1 steering ratio never used I recall tonight on Vintage Pontiacs.
