When ever I see stud kits for carb mounting to the intakes they are the same length. Does anybody sell a kit of 4 studs, bolts and washers with 2 long and 2 short studs? Or must I cut 2 down? I think what is on the car now is not OE so I cannot go by the exact size does any body know the specs? If the smalls can be bought in a set of 4 that's fine because I have 2 carbs to mount. Thanks

After 2 hrs. looking through all the links I guess I wasn't supposed to find an easy ready set of studs. 5 different finishes (who would see polished chrome in this application?) and my bolts measure 4 1/8 inches and 1 3/8 inches and they're not OE. Only Eddelbrock had those sizes in a bolt set. I find it hard to believe that no one made up a pack of correct studs in an OE finish They are all 5/16" X 18/24 X ____?.

most guys use 1 3/4" or 2" studs that put 1/2"-5/8" of 5/16" course threads into the manifold, and have the fine threads fore the lock nuts, most guys use NYLOC nuts and a lock washer to prevent the nuts becoming loose and most guys use loc-tite thread locker sealant on the course threads in the manifold, as it tends to reduce corrosion and prevent loose studs, if your application requires something different ARP probably has something or a local hard ware could hook you up
