having the coolant ports in the rear of the heads flow coolant into the intake manifold open serves no purpose, coolant flows from the water pump thru the front of the block , to the rear then up thru the specifically sized ports in the head gasket, into the cylinder heads and back forward to the intake manifold, then up and out thru the t-stat to the radiator, any flow of coolant, into the rear of the intake serves no function.
