this corvette looks interesting

It's A defined Top Fuel engine Grumpy.
Billet Block.
Billet Heads.
No water jacket.

I understand once at 3000+ Hp it's the only way to keep intact.
No coolant passages.
Alcohol keeps it cool for 1/8 or 1/4 mile run.
 
Just under 3000 lbs.
Not light by Top Fuel Funny car standards.
Has a transmission yet.

Probably a Lenco.

Maybe a Turbo 400 converted to a 2-speed.
Stinger than a Glide or Powerglide that way.
 
I'm well aware of its total race only and non-street drive-ability, still its rather interesting to see what a bottomless checking account can accomplish

Id love to build a couple projects, like that vette, Ive got the skills, experience, tools and shop space.,
unfortunately I'm forced to support both my family and my sons family on my SS and pension.
hes un-able to work due to medical issues and spent most of the last 2 months in the hospital.
while I support and feed him, and his wife and kids my wife etc.

I will be 49 next month.
I don't think I will live long enough to build a 5000 Hp Corvette.
About $500,000.
