I have T5 WC in my 86 Grand Prix. It's driven by a 355 with only about 375 hp. The transmission is making a bit of noise and I think it's the cause of a vibration. I have a spare T5 WC that just needs the needle bearings on the input output shafts changed so I'll be switching out the transmission this weekend after I replace the bearings. Since I have to rebuild the one coming out what do you guys suggest in the way of gears and such to build this transmission up. Or do you recommend the TKO 500, I can rebuild the T5 and easily make my money back, they are hard to find transmissions. I am going to putting in a roller cam and the cam will a bit livelier than the one I have so I might be in the area of 400 hp and I don't want to be worried about busting the tranny
