once you've significantly added additional horsepower to your car you'll quickly find the stock suspension and brakes frequently need to be upgraded, swapping to larger disc brakes is usually a bit expensive but hardly a challenge if you've got deep pockets or know enough about collecting parts from salvage yards, fabricating brackets or measuring and adapting components and the proper use of a decent welder, once that's done you'll find the largest tires that fit the stock wheel wells , are not large enough to apply the engine torque to the pavement, that frequently results in the need for taller and wider tires, to increase the contact patch, and the stock wheel wells won,t allow tires that size to be mounted, careful measurement, usually shows the need to (TUB) or enlarge the wheel wells and in many cases use a narrowed rear differential or a different offset on the wheels
careful measurement, a PLASMA CUTTER, and a MIG WELDER are GOOD TOOLS TO HAVE HANDY AT THAT POINT
