what do you gentleman suggest for the best value in a magazine carry option for a military clone rifle

I could use suggestions, especially if you've seen real combat and had to carry mags for extended time frames,
(realistically & THANKFULLY) few of us civilians will ever see anything like "COMBAT" but its still nice to have access to quality equipment
obviously easy access and secure closure, in any magazine holding vest, is important as is capacity to hold a reasonable amount of ammo.
if you can't rapidly access ammo thats a huge problem, as is potentially loss of magazines.
I've talked to several combat veterans and SWAT guys (obviously totally different mindsets)
as SWAT guys can't even conceive of needing more than two-three mags. in their worst nightmares
and they are more concerned with comfort and ability to carry equipment easily in a vehicle,
as walking any distance is almost inconceivable
(yes most guys on the swat teams exercise constantly but strength rather than endurance seems to be the goal;)
(yeah I shoot competition matches with these guys frequently at gun clubs and ranges)
(the vast differences in skill levels, between SWAT personnel, between departments and individuals is astounding in my opinion)
few SWAT GUYS I COMPETE WITH, in pistol & rifle matches, train to make rifle shots over 400 yards
(few ranges offer the longer range target option either)

obviously there's dozens of options, Id like to find some vest, or belt & suspender support combo,
that holds at least 8 magazines ,ideally with 4-6 pouches that each hold two mags in each pouch securely
and ideally can be used with any combo of M1A1/AK47/AR15 mags almost interchangeably
any suggestions?
(most of us have at least two different caliber military clone rifles so having some flexibility in the pouch size/depth etc. sure helps)
and yeah obviously a good value in quality vs price and ease of use and durability helps,
I don't care about color, ammo etc, but it should be easy to use and secure
some velcro or other rapid to use closure to secure mags is ideal rather than buckles etc. that make rapid access a P.I.T.A.
yes I'm well aware that the magazines differ a good deal in size & length and thickness etc.

I've used a mid size backpack with two larger compartments, with internal pockets sewn internally,
in the past but as a combat rig,
but that's hardly ideal or easily & rapidly accessible

having a medium sized back pack to hold,
extra mags and cleaning supply's and patches and solvents and lube,
and a few basic related tools is not a bad option

army doctrine in Afghanistan, seemed to be a minimum of (7) 30 cartridge magazines
no one I've ever talked to thought that few was near ideal, many guys wanted a aux pack they could throw in a humvee , for optional use and access if that was an option, but remember weight and space is at a premium
you need all the other gear, water and you'll as a soldier, easily be packing 100 plus lbs of required equipment very rapidly
(obviously you need to be in excellent physical condition(it helps to be 18-35 years old) if your expected to walk miles under various conditions with similar loads, especially if your also required to also carry a spare belt of ammo for the squad SAW, etc.
if you've seen a print-out of what most modern soldiers carried, its amazing they could walk any distances in rough terrain

having a cleaning rod, jags, patches, powder solvent, moly lube and a good oil in your pack is very helpful

BTW, if you have two or more types of VERY similar looking magazines
(EXAMPLE ) 223 AR15 , or 350 legend and 6.8 SPC AR 15 MAGS its a huge help if you spray paint the two different mag types with obviously different paint,
(EXAMPLE) 223 mags tan and 6.8 spc mags olive green, and 300 blackout in flat black etc.
or use a strip of
distinctive colored stretch tape around the base of one or the other type of magazine exclusively

and make it easy to tell what cartridge the rifles chambered in also, with printed ejection port covers

1 battle pack of loaded magazines and 1 spare battle pack in back pack for rifle.
250 pistol rounds in magazines and another 250 rounds in the back pack.
Plus water and other essential items for the area you are in. Army experience.
Gets heavy quick and tuff to carry in the heat, hopefully you can get back to resupply.
Buy a chest rig that carries your rifle magazines 2 to a pouch and pistol magazines in the vest pocket holders.
Vest is separate from the chest rig.

Personally can't do that anymore. Just stand my ground at the hasienda.
