Greetings All :
.40 over 350 Chevy motor, Mallory Hy-Fire 6-AL ignition box.
Recommended plug gap? Should it be a bit larger due to the
Mallory Box? Thanks in advance for your help.

a good strong spark and low ohms resistance ignition wire,
(especially the lower rpm multi spark ignitions )
and proper ignition advance is far more helpful ,
than adding a minor increase in spark plug gap.
.043-.045 works rather well with most 6al distributor ignitions,
Ive never seen a wider gap produce better results.
obviously use of good low ohms ignition wire helps performance.
