WILL WORK FANTASTIC ON C4 CORVETTE TPI 1987.
DATA PRESENT NO MODERN SCANNER HAS FOR OLD GM TPI CORVETTE.

The old Snap On MT 2500 Red Brick scanner is of no use on late model cars.
Most parts store scannwrs Ditto.
There are hundreds of scanners competing.
Its all about the Software. The Dealership Scanner software is Propitory.
OTC IS OK.
Scanners become dated 6-12 months after you buy them.
Snap On Modis was my Favorite since 2005. It can be bought for $2000-3,000,
Latest and best cost $15,000.00.

Its not worthwhile to most unless your a Professional Mechanic.
A main tool to earn $ a living with.

I no longer use a scanner daily.
I work in a True Race Shop now.
Stock ECM is removed and thrown away.
We install a Stand Alone ECM Efi system aftermarket.
 
On Fords IDES Is Best. I have used extensive.
On Mopar Star Mobile is best.
GM its Tech 2.
Snap On Modis to latest VERSUS Gets you into 99% of all.
I have used them all extensive.
If you can't get into the ECM You can't diagnose.
Have to turn the customer away and send them down the road.

$5,000 to $15,000 required for a Good Scanner to run your own shop.
