Yesterdays hunt!

First prairie dog hunt this year! WINDY, kind of cold and the dogs were holding tight to home but two of us nailed 65 of them. Expect to do much better later on but it was a ton of fun!
 
No pictures. I was using my 22-250 so it turns the dogs inside out. Friend who owns the land is a HOT CHICK with a rifle... scoped 22 and a crack shot. Her dad uses a 17 HMR when he comes out. Last year we had a day of over 250 kills, used everything short of throwing rocks at them :lol:
 
Ive only been on a couple prairie dog hunts, THE last one was a good deal of fun, I used a 58 cal muzzle loader and ranges were in the 300-400-even occasional 500 yard shots, yard ranges, so although we seldom scored hits it was a good deal of fun because of the time delay and having to judge wind, and hold over, we laughed a great deal at the absurd conditions but we had fun, the guys with me swore you could go open and half drink a beer between firing and watching the mini balls impact
