If your looking for the first dirt cheap welder to get started in welding id seriously advise taking a class in welding some place before wasting ANY money on the low cost entry level welders below, but I know everyone's on a tight budget, yes the really low cost is attractive as all get out! but theres a whole lot of things that the dirt cheap entry level welders DON,T DO WELL.

If you go for the really low price point welders, good luck! my brother-in-law bought one of those HF "welders" because of the ridiculously low $199 sale price, I let him hook up my tanks and gauges to test weld and we returned it after trying for several hours to get it to produce decent welds
now you would hardly expect that 110 volt welder to weld like my miller 252 mig thats costs $2300 with the tanks but even the Lincoln welder that he eventually purchased for $269 on sale was SO much better it was no contest, that doesn,t mean I advise this only that there was a very noticeable improvement, between these two dirt cheap welders.

REALLY TAKE A CLASS BEFORE INVESTING IN ANY WELDER, KNOWING EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED AND HOW IT WORKS, AND HAVING THE SKILL TO USE IT IS EASILY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART
