Pos. starter stud or alt stud

I am installing a eletricly boosted power brake kit and I am wondering which power source to use alt or starter?
I already have dual eletric fans running off the alt if I add the hyd pump to the alt there doesnt seem like there would be a problem if the engine is running but what if you just turn the key one click forward and run everything just off the battery will the stock wiring harness wire take the load.
 
It would sure help to know what car your referring to, the gauge of wire used, and the amp rating on the electrically boosted power brake kit,
but generally they are NOT high amp and don,t run constantly so connecting off either the accessory, power side of the starter,or alternator seems like that posses no problem, ID prefer the starter myself, as its less likely to effect the ignition voltage, and how the engine runs

ID suggest 10GA stranded wire with a fuse in the link (probably a 25 amp)
