I was just wondering. I'm not and avid hunter really. I've bagged some squirrels, dove, a duck or two, and three turkeys in one shot(they were standing close together and got an unchoked 12ga. spread from about 10ft. )... but I love target/clay shooting and have a penchant for shotguns.
I use a Remington Model 1100 28ga. for nearly all my sport shooting. Most everyone thinks I'm nuts for using it, since it's an antique. But like old cars, what's the point in having them if you're not gonna use them? Though I AM SUPER glad that the 28ga. has made a comeback...especially now that I don't have to special order shells at $25/box.
