Hello! I've had my '87 C4 since April of this year. I picked it up for a great price because of an issue with the coolant in the oil. The car is in excellent shape and seems to have been garage-kept its entire life.
I consider this car a 'project car' and look forward to modifying her for performance and general fun street driving. I've removed the air pump to clean up the engine bay and installed long-tube headers and a DIY exhaust. I'm also using the opportunity to learn a bit of OBD1 tuning and have a DIY PROM burned and installed.
For the next steps, I plan on potentially porting the intake, and I also have a set of 1.6 roller-tip rockers to install. I've also picked up a set of 113 heads I will be porting.
I've joined this forum because I've seen Grumpy's posts on other sites, and he seems extremely knowledgeable. I'm hoping some of the experience rubs off. I'm located just outside Fort Lauderdale.
