how many of you gentlemen would like to have chosen a different car?
or wish they had purchased several cars back in the days when they were far easier to afford and acquire!
I have an older friend thats in his early 80s he drives a 1968 mustang ,
(for the younger guys that may not know what one looks like)
(pictures of both mustang years)
BTW his mustang is a pontiac dark green (he repainted it about 20 years ago)
4 speed manual with mild stock 390
hes having coffee with me and says,
"you know I made a big mistake 30 years ago,
I always wanted a 1970 mustang,
I could have purchased one 30 years ago for damn near pocket change,
now they are priced like they are made out of solid silver bullion"
now I like my 1968, but I should have purchased both back in the late 1980s!
now I'm not a big ford mustang fan, but I doubt theres a single guy,
that is our age that does not regret not purchasing a few cars like,
L88 corvettes,
a GTO,
or firebird,
hemi dart,
hemi cudas,
440 six pack road runners,
454 chevelles,
427 camaros
401 AMX
or a boss 429 mustang
at some point in their lives
I'm sure almost every guy reading this ,
wishes he could go back a few decades,
and purchase cars that are now no longer affordable to own.
