I just recently replaced the headers on my '69 Chevelle, the car has a GM crate LS7 that was swapped in around ~91 or so. recently replaced the 1 7/8 primary headers to headers with 2" primaries. in doing so the oil filter had to be removed for the drivers header to clear the lower A-arm. Went ahead and changed the oil, even though the oil in it only had ~1800 miles. Here's where the problem comes in, after changing the oil and putting a new filter on, I fired up the car only to find it was throwing oil around the oil filter, the engine was making ~60psi of oil pressure. Went and replaced the filter with a AC Delco filter, thinking maybe the K&N had a defect, came home put the Delco filter on and same thing. The oil filter mount is clean, no seal on it from the old filter, no nicks or scratches on it, anywhere. Any idea what the problem could be?
