Forgot that the ported heads won't match up to the headers I have in the truck, and the modified headers on the gasser won't match up to the "stock" edelbrock heads, so back to square one, the ported heads are back on the gasser, and the "stock" heads are back on the truck motor!!! Just didn't want to go through modd'ng the headers (both sets) to fit the different heads, and the blower loves the ported headers on the gasser....
Went thru the brakes, needed to put rebuild kits in the front calipers and rear wheel cylinders, and had to order a new master cylinder, honed the old one "endlessly" and the rust pits just would not come out, got one and the rebuild kits! The calipers/cylinders at the wheels were in good enough shape to hone and rebuild.
The motor almost ready to put back in. Can't find the starter, know it is somewhere, it'll pop up, they always do, usually after I go buy another one!!! :lol:
