the OEM crossfire heads for 1984 are casting number 462624 76cc heads
462624 chevy head flow numbers
(these are the heads that came on the 1984 corvettes)
just a bit of info on those stock #624 head flow rates
.......intake....exhaust
.100..44..........41cfm
.200..101..........82cfm
.300.155..........125cfm
.400..182..........137cfm
.500..196..........140cfm
(THATS PATHETIC)
the OEM cross fire intake is very restrictive and so is the exhaust,
you obviously don,t want to do something rather dumb like radically over cam the engine,
as its not able to flow nearly enough air through the heads and intake to provide much of a power boost,
but there is a way to significantly improve the potential and better heads and a renegade intake,
headers and a low restriction exhaust is well proven.
since youve already acquired a renegade intake,Id suggest the next step is research into better cylinder heads,
as they can and do provide a very noticeable boost in power, if the correct heads are matched to the application.
Id suggest you locate a set of heads that will accept a .600 minimal lift,
flow at least 250 cfm at .500 lift and have 180cc-200 cc ports to maximize results
