On my 3rd rear main seal (BBC)

Up and running, NO leaks!!! Lets hope I go more than 50 miles this time lol !! Thanks again !
 
You've had more grief than anyone person should with that oil seal...... good luck!!!

If the Rear Main Seal hasn't leaked in 50 miles your in good shape.
 
Every Pontiac V8 guy fought rear main seal oil leak issues in the 1990's.
Before BOP Viton seal was around.
After Fel Pro Removed all asbestos from the Factory replacement Rope Seal.
