not sure yet! I have a lot to do to the engine bay also, with the new motor mounts and getting rid of the a/c housing on the passenger side. Just depends how much time I have free.Indycars said:

Do you think the car will be drivable this year?
I agree Grumpy, will look at that when I go to get the supplies to strengthen the center support of the garage.grumpyvette said:Id strongly suggest you coat every internal and external surface of those compressed particle board garage doors with several thick coats of fiberglass resin thinned with acetone so in penetrates , before you paint them or your sure to have weather related durability issues over the next few years, and adding an alarm, lighting and good locks sure would not hurt either

Working in Secrecy is actually smart.busterrm said:That was my reasoning Brian, I got all the interior stuff getting better and better and I don't want anything stolen, so I covered the side with the Nova, and built the door for a temp fix. I have a lot of money in the New engine and want it protected.
Hahahaha! I just got back from a gun show here in town, and I fitted my Henry lever action 22 mag with a scope. So if I catch any ole thief here he will be riddled with a few holes.87vette81big said:Working in Secrecy is actually smart.busterrm said:That was my reasoning Brian, I got all the interior stuff getting better and better and I don't want anything stolen, so I covered the side with the Nova, and built the door for a temp fix. A shiny Brand New Garage Attracts a lot of attention to thieves.
I think the best theft deterrent is a Big Ole' Watchdog.
Mean, Ugly, A Tast for Human Bad Dude Blood.
A loaded Shotgun with Steel Bird Shot is Good too.
At close range of 15-20 Feet, Arms & Legs will easily Seperate from the Human Bofy.
Texas......Illinois style.
