Sleeper!!!!

Right-o

I found a few loose connections while cleaning up and concealing things.

Electronics are now quite well concealed behind dash/glove box.

Trick learned: spray grease on rubber grommets when pushing wires through. Makes things much easier!!!

Engine ran for a few minutes on new set up.

The coolest part is I have a toggle to bypass my switchboard (which they didn't like.) With the toggle on, the switchboard can be placed in glove box and the car behaves "normally," nothing needs to be switched on or off manually.

It always feel especially good when a project works out better than anticipated !

BEEN THERE better than anticipated !
"OCCASIONALLY!" more times than not things work out as expected or occasionally unforeseen problems pop up

Am not sure but i think he did, i think i read elsewhere on this forum that he passed, can't find it.

Sorry mates... no such good news.

I'm swamped with work an will only be able to go next week or the week after... but pretty much everything is set.

Oh well it must have been a dream lol.
I was almost 100% sure that you did :/.

Tech inspection failed... well, failed to go... or rather I failed to inspect pieces on arrival. One of the calipers Summit shipped me had an "ear" broken off. The box was fairly damaged and a month late getting here... I suspect that it was thrown around harshly and not packed well enough.

On the other hand, my dual Deral electric fans came in and they look righteous! I can't WAIT to install them. The babies look bad! Complete with temp sensors, relays, etc.

I F! LOVE Summit!!!!! No issues whatsoever about caliper... such a low dollar item, no need to send it back.

These dual fans oughta handle the heat!!!!!

BTW, injury time...

I had a very rough time starting my car after a few weeks of non use + 5 degrees F.

It popped through the carb and ignited that crummy pro-flow foam filter.

I ran around and immediately ripped it out of the car and a few bits of burning foam landed on my face. Grmbl!!!! Might leave a scar. Great!

Heheheh - I had both... just figured it would be less messy to rip the filter out.

Nice fans, how many amp and cfm?

carb backfire, use more fuel when cold starting (pump some fuel in with the gas pedal/accelerator pump and try to set the choke more rich if its going to cold start often) ;).
At 0° to -40°F its best to use a coolant/oil heater :D

No more foam filter in the futur? My paper element filter dont burn up even under heavy carb backfire

You gotta remember... the only reason that filter is on there, is to pass tech inspection. The filter for the procharger doesn't burn ;-)
