I am not gonna opt either but will be happy knowing that my $150 on lifters is well spent then just cheaping out and buying the cam kit from lunati which comes with their cheap lifters. I saw they have similar lifters with an oil hole in the center or offset but more money. I would have gone with a crower camshaft but there was a 20hp difference in the low and mid rpms where the lunati shined. I think it was one of Harold Brookshire's designs. I have diamond paste I use to micropolish my airbrush needles it is equalivlent to 200,000 grit sand paper.

I agree with you. Magazine hype I don't believe with its a product they got from a company with three full page ads in there magazine and a pop up banner on there page. I hear ya I did allot of searching around and talking to people. I get lunati there ok. Crower and Isky are favorites. Stay away from comp they are the worst. This is by people that race I am from a racing town the 1/2 mile oval and drag strip was 15 min from my house as a kid. Now a half hour away. I talked to gentleman who designed the ecu he favored Crower.

Id add ERSON and CRANE to the approved vendor list (BTW crane makes several G.M. cams)Lunati Crower and ISKY all 5 vendors produce good quality cams, and yes I personally avoid comp simply because of the HORRIBLE & INCONSISTENT at times LUDICROUSLY UNINFORMED tech support,
at least its been my experience that if you ask a question about a product from the other 5 vendors you get either a correct answer or if the guys unsure, the guy on the phone, will tell you he will call you back with an answer , you could talk with comps tech support guys 5 times and Id bet get 5 different answers, as a result I have used those other listed five vendors, and most of the time CRANE,CROWER AND ERSON as I find that once I calculate the cam specs I need at least one of those three will have something close to what I,m looking for
