Ran into a problem. The front frame clip in my truck is from a '70 Chevelle that had a big block in it. It's got a big block in it now. When I ordered the Hooker Super Comps for a '70 BBC Chevelle, I figured they would fit, but they don't.
Started on the right side first, the old header is shown below next to the new header.
The old headers were in the truck for 17 years, but I don't remember what brand they are or where I got them. They fit. The shiney new ones hit the lower A-arm rear mount. The tube from cylinder #4. And it looks like the tube from cylinder #2 would hit the starter if I could get it all the way in.
Can anybody ID the old header? I seem to think it might be a Hedman.
