70 Olds 455 in a 55 Chevy 4x4 Stepside

This motor came running out of a '70 Olds Toronado. I prettied it up with the intake, valve covers and new carb. Later it was pulled and rebuilt, I'll find the specs and post them here. The truck has Ford axles front and rear, and a GM 4L80E tranny and transfer case.

thats a really clean looking pick-up and having an engine swap like that makes it at least twice as interesting!
I love working on those pick-ups as most of the components are easy to access and the engine compartment can easily hide a great deal that would stick thru the hood on more current cars/trucks due to hood clearance issues
