Ok, took the heads a part to inspect and clean, whats the best way to clean them up? soak them in??? pressure wash??? what can they be soaked in?? a good cleaner???

Thanks!

the better mag wheel cleaning products at most auto parts stores work reasonably well, most degreasing products followed with a stiff brush and a pressure cleaner will work, just be aware that you must almost instantly dry and coat the parts with wd40 or some other rust preventative oil product or the valve guides, springs, etc. will quickly oxidize or rust

If your heads are really caked with crud,a good carburetor, or throttle body cleaner spray followed quickly with a pressure wash and a coating of WD 40 during and after drying them with a heat gun or if that not handy a hair drier will work, but its slower.

Grumpyvette,

The stiff wire brush wont harm any thing?

that depends on the brush used and the guy using it, theres plenty of stiff plastic brushes that can be used with far less potential to screw things up
