Im assuming your referring to flash burn from watching a welding arc, this should NEVER be done with contact lens, as SERIOUS eye damage can result, if you wore contacts call your eye doctor and ask his advise, but lets assume you got stupid, you radiation burned your eyes ? we almost all do stupid stuff when new to welding , If so take a fresh potato,(NOT INSTANT POTATOES) get a steak knife (serrated), peel the potato and wash it good.throw it in a blender if you have one,if not, Take the serrated edge and scrape the potato until you have about a cup of pulp, add a 1/2 cup, evaporated milk,or regular milk if you don,t have evaporated milk,a bit of crushed ice won,t hurt but it seldom helps a great deal either but it does make the radiation burn feel better, . Get you a clean cotton face cloth, like a cotton pillow case not a terry cloth towel, rinse it out good with bottled water and put the pulp in it folding it over. Lay down, place the compress on your closed eyes and drip some fresh bottled water on to the compress occasionally letting the solution pool on your eyes. Keep you eyes closed. This will eventually pull the burn/heat feeling out of them (your eyes)as its absorbing the heat from the radiation burned area,. About 1-3 hours if severe. And in the future ,dont watch the pretty blue light!! use a self darkening FACE SHIELD, wear a leather apron and long sleeve shirt gloves etc
if after an hour laying with the mix drawing heat from your closed eyes things have not improved Id suggest calling your doctor
