Israeli CIVILIAN gun ownership is quoted as being as low at about 2% of the general civilian population.
yes a MUCH higher percent of the ISRAEL population has seen military service

Im watching the TV, and repeatedly see people saying their family's BUTCHERED WHILE huddled in a "SAFE ROOM"
while the HAMAS terrorist threw in hand grenades and shot families to death in mass groups of unarmed civilians
or beheaded kids while the parent's were forced to watch.
It compares to about 30%-to-40% of the population owning a gun(s) in the US.
Usually ONLY LICENCED ISRAEL's citizens are allowed to own a pistol and a limit of 50 bullets.

that's absurd in my opinion, can you even imagine how vulnerable you would feel living next to a huge population of people,
who swear their goal is to totally eliminate you and your entire country!
if they tried that in TEXAS there would at least be 25%-30% of the adult population that was armed if given even a few minutes notice.
I have to believe if there were thousands of ARMED MEXICANS swarming over our border ,
the civilian population, OF TEXAS would not be reduced to hiding in "safe rooms, waiting to be butchered"
yeah our military has advantages but they can't be everywhere at all times
while your average texan might only have a handgun or two or a couple hunting rifles or an AR15 ,

and a 12 ga shotgun and you know joe average AMERICAN owns a whole lot more than 50 cartridges
that's easily 15- 20 times the potential civilian resistance by armed parents,
to be butchered rather than being totally defenseless.

THANK THE LORD FOR THE USA SECOND AMENDMENT
The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State,
the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

As Adm. Isoroku Yamamoto was supposed to have said,
"I would never invade America, there is a gun behind every blade of grass."
This was a serious consideration of the Soviets as well years later.
