Left mirror no go fix

When you have them, you want them to work, or what?
Left mirror motor just stopped working.
FSM, where are you?
Started checking things after removing the door panel.
Went trough the chart in the FSM, but this resulted in...
Replace mirror (motor) assembly... NOT
Checked the wiring harness again and stumbled over a connector in the door where the wiring splits up to left and right.
Took the connector apart... green inside.
Cleaned it out (almost impossible to sand the contacts, without taking the small wires out of the connector, I have a tool but didn´t want to do that), sprayed it with contact cleaner together with some other connectors (while in there, you know), and the mirror motor has worked ever since.

These were three seemingly simple fixes (together with the antenna motor and the rear defroster), but counting troubleshooting time/cost at a shop, I know my FSM at least has paid for itself plus more to it.
Adding to it, that it wasn´t the FSM that had the fix printed in it in the end, but helped me on the way to it.

thats all too common, (corrosion on electrical connectors) most of the time you can clean the connectors either with a bit of 600 grit sand paper and WD 40 or in some cases dipping it in TARNEX
