- I'm plagued with a heavy throttle foot and a standard trans therefore it seems my motor mounts tend to tear.
I have run the interlocking mounts for years and am not keen on the solid mounts.
Are there any suggestions on gorilla tough mounts or should I just stop and go with solid mounts.
I'll need the mounts to fit 2 5/8 wide stands and be 1 3/4 tall for my 496 '68 Camaro with steel SS hood.
We took out the LT one from the impala changed out everything from original motor , and are installing another LT onebolts from a corvette , thing is the drivers side engine mount bolts up , bell housing bolts together , and everything lines up except the passenger side motor mount is about an inch to inch and quarter offset from even coming close to mounting up any Ideas can I flip it over and get mount to work ?????
are you using the motor mounts on the engine your installing, in the impala from the impala original engine or from/ that came with the corvette,s engine, that came with that new replacement engine?
