The 3-prong sensor that goes in the intake manifold is usually for the Cold Engine Green Light that comes on cold morning startups.
Water temp hits 113-120 F Green dash light goes off.
Hot Engine Light comes on 235-240 F.
Fullsized Pontiac Feature only.
Full sized Pontiac had lots of neat features Firebird, Trans Ams, And GTO never had, actually stripped down on Nice Aesthetic touches.
Recall 1968 Pontiac owners stating they had the same Green cold engine light feature as my 63 Gp has.
Started in 1959 ended ? 1968, 69, 70 ?
Found a NOS 3-prong coolant temp switch on Ebay. Think paid $15 for it 2 years ago.
