READ thru these links as there's a lot of good info
regarding valve seal wear, and installation, etc. and as Im sure your aware you can use a great deal of oil if they are in need of replacement, you'll also want to verify the condition of your valves and valve guides, and verify all clearances and that the push rods are spraying oil on those valves, lots of guys install high lift cams without verifying coil bind or retainer to valve seal clearance, or a steady supply of oil flow to cool the valve springs and lube the valves, with the result the valve seals get damaged, this might help
Many teflon valve guide seal designs are not very flexible and if the valve guides are a bit loose they can leak considerable oil,Switching to the more flexible viton seals can at times help reduce oil consumption issues

this info below might help
things that can cause the guides to go bad are
1) Improper valve train component geometry in the rocker arm sweep on the tip of the valve stem. or improper valve to guide clearances
2) Lack of oil flow to the valve stems and lack of assembly lube on the valve stem before firing the engine.
3) cheap parts that are not clearanced correctly
4) improperly installed valve seals or the wrong valve seals
