theres quite a few experienced big block chevy engine enthusiasts on this, site so I thought it might be a good place to ask," what do you feel is the best single or dual carb, oval port intake manifold available for under $500 (intake manifold alone) for use on a car with a 454-496 big block with oval port heads , and a common drive train with rear gears in the mid 3.36:1-3.73:1 range on a car like many of you drive that will be used about 90% of the time on the street?
what carb(s) would you suggest?
now Ive built several dozen big block engines over the years that match those limitations and I have a good idea as to what Ive found works, but I,m rather interested in what many of you gentlemen think on the subject, so please post your thoughts or concerns on the subject
