Wiring Issues With A 1988 Vette After Prolonged Storage

I have 1988 l98 Corvette every time I hit the single light all my lights start flashing I changed the single light flasher and the fuse on the passenger side I changed the battery cables because I thought it wasn't grounding right I haven't changed the single switch yet I've noticed every time I open the doors the door ajar doesn't sound the lights in the dash flickering I need help trying to find the problem the car was sitting for ten years never had a problem until it sat there any advice would be helpful

Just some backstory the car has caught on fire before. It was my grandpas he bought to restore. The engine and wiring were completely redone by a chevy dealership.

The car has sat since my grandpa passed (it’s been about 12 years) and I finally got the okay to restore it. That being said I changed the battery, changed the oil + filter, put new plugs and wires, New fuel pump (there was one on the shelf in the box so i put it in) also put in a fuel filter...

yes it sounds like its time to pull out a multimeter and start checking the ground connections,
I'm sure it will take some time to partially disassemble and inspect some areas that are suspected of causing the issues
And I doubt its a single area or issue,
don,t start banging your head on the wall,
its simply a matter of isolate, inspect and test!
its most likely corrosion moisture and/or rodent damage issues,
in several components.
don,t get overwhelmed just isolate each issue separately and be logical and observant,
there's not a thing on that corvette that can't be repaired or replaced if that's required
Id suggest use a code scanner and multi meter ,
to help isolate the defective circuits,
you can start by checking blown fuses and checking for shorts and grounds with a multi meter,
and it sounds like the wiring in the steering collum,or ignition switch area is suspect,
and ignition switch turn signal areas may have defective parts.
and yeah the door switches may need to be checked or replaced

your working at a huge dis-advantage if you don,t have a factory shop manual,
for your specific year car, and basic tools like a multi-meter

a factory service manual, a multi meter ,
heat shrink tube and a decent solder gun,
and replacement connectors and pigtail connectors,
can cure a great many issues
