you need to be very careful, as imitation/fake name brand parts from china/india are being sold

if there's any money to be scammed from the un-aware , there's surely someone out there,
ready to take their cash in a heartbeat selling crap quality goods.
unless you deal DIRECTLY with the name brand vendor, or in some cases even some larger parts houses
you take a chance on getting crap quality components
keep in mind a single bolt, stud, or valve spring failure will trash your engine into scrap.

I learned that long ago,+ anything priced significantly lower than the brand name parts,

is generally made significantly cheaper from crap materials
that generally results in crap materials and/or shoddy machine work,or both

yes there are some well made imported components , but the vast majority ,from what I've seen, are not top quality

“Quality is like buying oats. If you want nice, clean, fresh oats, you must pay a fair price.
However, if you can be satisfied with oats that have already been through the horse ...
that comes a little cheaper.”

I know of two cases,
where FAKE ARP rod bolts failed, resulting in a trashed engine!
in both cases guys tried to save cash, and bought fake/imported ARP rod bolts
and in one case the machine shop the guy had resizing the connecting rods even pointed out that the rod bolts,
were imitations , yet the guy used them, and he said they worked fine!
well they did for about 5 months.. then one stretched and the rod came though the block!
and when we looked the rod bolt was obviously stretched & bent in a way I've never seen an ARP rod bolt fail

BE AWARE OF FAKE BRAND NAME PARTS AT DISCOUNT PRICES
I once purchased a bunch of chevy valve train parts from a local auto parts vendors shop that was going out of business,
among those was a " CLONE OF A CLOYES" timing chain and timing gear set,
it looked identical, to real cloyes parts,
but it said in very small print under the timing gears,
printed, on the cardboard, under the timing gears
where you could not see it with the shrink wrap holding the parts to the cardboard backer
(which had CLOYES) written in 1" high red letters on the package,
"made in india" it proved to be 11 degrees advanced in the DOT-TO-DOT config.
when a degree wheel was used

its a good idea to use a rod bolt stretch gauge,

as ARP says how far the bolts should stretch under a stated load from the torque wrench
and having a quality torque wrench certainly helps, and
ID suggest you use a degree wheel to index cams as the DOT-TO-DOT
method of cam installation has potential flaws
