Racing stall I think needed.
Appears air speeds low.
Till 4000-5500 rpm hit.


Where Pontiac V8 shines for me.
High Velocity ports all the time.

Just How Chevy did things.

Pontiac took a different way.
 
Ok have talked to guy about torque converter,
And vacuum
Because it's a manual shift
A small amount of vacuum is needed
Not like turbo 400
Needs 11 to 14 inches of vacuum
Only thing it does is help line pressure at like a stop sign in gear

Good news he can re do my old torque
Converter for $250 whatever stall I want
Up to 4000
 
Just going to throw a few numbers out.
With a cam guarenteed to pull 11-14 inches of vacuum likely going to be down 150 Hp with exhaust system in place.
So 750-800 Hp not going to happen that way.

Looking at real world 550-575-600 Hp.
Drive anywhere.
Everything works as intended .

1/4 times suffer.
 
Let the 4L80 E bang into gear .
Grumpy s Cam.
Trans may last may not.

Buy a stand alone 4L80E trans controller.
Rework the 4L80E.
Make it computer shift again.
Likely looking $1500-2k to do that.
