I'm cautiously optimistic, the cam lobe in the posted picture,looks like its starting to wear but the lifter looks decent , Id suspect youll know the answer very soon if you put it back together and run it a bit longer, it will ether stabilize and the parts will lap in and seat and run or the lobe and lifter base will rapidly wear,I wish I could be really sure either way, but I can,t tell 100% sure from the pictures, and if CRANES tech guys think its seating ok, I'd at least give it a chance rather than pulling it down and replacing it.
