Grumpy borrowed my photo from earlier this year.look at your block, some blocks have two different bolt patterns for mounting a starter,
and some starters have dual sets of bolt locations

The Power Master ULTRA Torque starter bolted up to my 1999 CHEVY Tahoe 350 Vortech block.
Vortech 350 has Straight and Staggered by patterns present.
The Starter with Bendix extended cranking over missed the K1500 4L60E 168 Tooth Flexlate by 1/2 inch short.
Spun away and did nothing else.
No way to resolve.
Bad Engineering again.
Made nice The Ultra Torque.
Bought it used off of ebay maybe 2007.
Only TILTON MINI STARTER ARE DIRECT FIT NO ISSUES .
