Disappointed with new brake calipers...

I'm still on the fence regarding the 1-inch vs 15/16. I think both would work. Hmmm, I might try out the 15/16 just to see, but after I get the vacuum pump in there.

Well, it's not quite settled but...

The electric pump works but still doesnt shut off unequivocally. Might be a small vacuum leak somewhere.

It was wet outside so braking was a bit tough to gauge. Still, it was again an improvement. Not sure yet I would spring for a 15/16. I might. This seems ok. More testing when dry.

yes let us know, both what you feel worked and how the car drives, because many of us will eventually be involved with brake issues and all this info is very useful, in getting a better understanding of the options and results.

Braked on dry... Hmmm, not sure I would spring for the 15/16. The set-up is certainly adequate and better than stock. More responsive and yes, I can go into emergency braking be mashing the pedal. Eletric vacuum pump never seems to quite entirely... possibly a vacuum leak somewhere.

Overall, its good. ;)

Ok......I get it! The stapler in the picture was for my benefit! You must have a really big one somewhere that you use to install the engine! Probably take two people to carry it!
