just a heads up,
I have not been on the web site nearly as much as I wish I could be...
simply because I have been in the hospital with my wife,
who is having some medical issues.
I don't know how this will play out but hopefully things improve:sad:
 
its been 5 daYS NOW, SHE SEEMS VERY COFUSED, DOES NOT RECOGNISE ME OR HE GRAND KIDS AT TIMES:facepalm::worried:
docs say its not a stroke, but shes unexplainably very dehydrated?
when on an IV, she comes mostly out of it, but once off the IV, things don't stay good for long no matter how much she drinks (water, gator aid Ice tea etc. (the docs seem confused as to the cause)
 
I’m sure someone will look at her kidney function -right?

I hope she gets better really soon!
 
well shes recovering slowly, but they still won.t tell me the cause

Did she ever sign a HIPAA for you? This protects a person’s privacy but allows you (if she signed) full access to her medical record. You really need to have EVERYTHING explained. You don’t want to find out later they cut you out of any decision making
 
yeah, we have reciprocal powers of attorney, wills, medical permission slips etc, etc.
the issue is the med staff has no clue what's causing the issues she's having..
or more importantly what's causing the issues

well shes now home! but they still don't have a firm grip on what caused the issues, she was having,
they tend to think it was a urinary tract infection, and dehydration compounded the problem, we shall see how things progress!

BTW thanks for caring and asking!
 
Great news she’s home! But a UTI can’t connect the dots - no way. That hospital must not have a diagnostician on staff.
 
ITS A p.i.t.a. NOT KNOWING THE CAUSE, AND SHES HAD A BUNCH OF TESTING
 
she's been out only a few days , but I had to rush her back last night,
AS THE SYMPTOM'S ALL STARTED TO RE-APPEAR LAST EVEING
this is a huge P.I.T.A. to deal with, I need the medical staff to locate the source of the issues,
so something useful can be accomplished, treating symptom's without eliminating or at least ,
working on eliminating the source is frustrating, time consuming and nearly worthless.

Worthless for your wife, but they charge you for every minute they don't find the source.

A little sarcasm for you Grumpy. She may be doing this to really make sure you still love her. You all did move to Texas and trying to make really sure you still do.

Really hope she recovers soon.
Hunting trip cancelled so you need a vacation.
