I have been having some fun, I won't upload any videos of me spinning my tires, or speeding...
However I extracted some other corvette timing tables, the 85 vette timing table has been great, tons of power and no pings.
issue is that that timing table is for cast iron heads, I have those edlebrock aluminum ones!
...so I started on a quest for a better timing table...
First one I tried was for an 89 vette, better much better... but I did get some pings at the higher rpm ranges.
I figured it was fueling, however data logging did not show it being that bad...
so I built several bins and loaded up into ebl flash.
First one and my safe bin uses the 85 timing, then I found an 86 timing table, also iron heads.
Digging more I know that late 86 introduced aluminum heads, so digging around I finally found the late 86 timing table.
it looks a little bit like the 89 table, but it's not as wild looking.
I gave it a good run, and the engine feels much smoother, power is fantastic, tons of upper end, however once I hit 4800 RPM my lack of fueling starts to show.
I still need to do the areomotive fuel regulator but for now it's real good!
I attached as a zip file, hopefully it's accepted by the system
My fueling is pretty steep, but once I have the areomotive vafpr then it may look pretty different...
