Tum-Tee-Tum...

you may want to use main cap studs with provisions for a windage tray
obviously youll want to verify the part number and application

What happened to make the bolts too short ??? You were going with splayed caps....right ???

The splayed cap only came with the short bolts  I should have figured the stock bolts might be too short. Anyway - be good to get some ARP in there...

dityou ask why they say they are to sort ? strange i tought the guys from the caps now what bolts to use
ore are they chinees caps ?

Yes, it will be ARP + windage tray.

I presume the caps are beefier and therefore require longer bolts...

In a rage now gentlemen...

I called up the machine shop.

Idiot machine chop align bores then finds out that the main journal of crankshaft is 10 milimeter too small!!!!

I am presuming Ohio sent me a 350 rather than a 400!!!! @#$%@#$%@#$%%$

WTF the machine shop went ahead with an expensive align bore is XXXXX beyond me.

AND of course I can't find my order back in writing. Grmbl. Did I do it over the phone???????

Incredible.

Sorry for your troubles Dorian !

The machine work is still valid thou, you just need the right crank.......right ???

I think so.

I called Ohio crank... they are looking into their papers. Grunt. I cannot imagine I did not tell them several times this was a 400. I know it's far less common than a 350.

New crank will have to be balanced...

Yes. I think the issue might be fixable. Ohio shipped a 350 crank. Oops!!! They goofed. They are indeed offering spacer bearings + 350 bearings.

That's just too many teenagers in one place !

I looked at the picture closely, but I couldn't spot you anywhere. :D

Do you have the block back from the machine shop ? Are you ready to start assembly ?

Do you sleep with that Blue Thing, it seems to be everywhere ???

My Precioussss

No, just got these in the mail. Now need to drop it off at machine shop...

seems to be a nice clean strap they put around your crank maybe they can use a little sanding paper

just to be sure the mess up your cranck

seems a proffecional way of lifting an engineblock
and i hope they still got to do the deck it will not kill them to place the block on some dessent surface

Wow, crank spins very freely. However, clearances are spot on. As are the piston ring clearances...
