Hacksaw Jim DugganYou just have to get their attention first, a 4 foot 2x4 works pretty good!
Yes, those two are testing the limits! I wrote 1 up last night for a flagrant safety violation. We have a standing safety rule, Hard hat, Safety glasses, Ear plugs, and Safety toe work boots are to be worn at all times. He said he forgot to put on his safety toe work boots when he left his house, I told him either punch out, go home and get them or get wrote up. He said, "No! I will not lose that much time!" I told him, Strike One! Then told him, saying NO to your lead man is a good way to lose your job. I reported it to the Division Supervisor, and filled out the safety reprimand. We will see if he took me serious! He's lazy also, has a lackadaisical attitude toward his work. He stated, " We Cadillac on night shift!" I told him that is about to change, and that our work load is about to increase about 30-40%.
