interesting RANT over fedex

I don't know what your experiences have been,
but both FEDEX and UPS have occasionally delivered packages to my homes,
in FLA and TEXAS
by dumping them over the fence or at the edge of the driveway.
where anyone could have driven past and simply stopped ,
gotten out of a car and grabbed them with very little effort!
I had 4 corvette tires dumped next to my mail box, in florida,
and a forged crank assembly dropped off at the driveway/street junction,
and from the damage on the heavy cardboard packaging the guy simply pushed over the fence,
onto the edge of the driveway, from outside my open gate.
in texas I had several large boxes dropped off next to the mail box which is about 18" from the paved street,
that mail box is at least 120 feet from the front steps on the house!,
so I know how crappy the delivery service's can treat goods

one reason I try hard to buy locally if I can.

Well maybe when I send for my Brodix SBC heads I'll just send you the cash and you can pick them up and send them to me LOL

ask the vendor to pack anything you buy very carefully and refuse any packages that look like they rolled them down the stairs about 4 times
